after many months, i'm finally on friends season10! haha (:
today i planned to drag darryl to gwc to accompany me to eat yoshinoya since i've been having strange cravings for it, although i rarely eat it. i'm weird, i know. in the end my dad, darryl and i watched hero (the one with takuya kimura) on dvd at home until it was almost time for me to go to work, so no yoshinoya for me... but in the end they all decided to come to gwc to eat bnj's and observe their sister/daughter at work. -_- haha. phish food milkshake and double scoop belgian waffle sundae! forgot to take pics of the stuff until it was all eaten up. lol.
i had a lot of fun at work today! was working with elise, from my batch, and jasmine, from alicia's batch. they are both sooo cute ^^ at around 6+ it was pretty quiet, and we were bumming around and talking. then elise and i went down to collect the cakes, and when we came back all hell broke loose. in addition to replacing the old cakes, there was this whole queue of customers that just appeared of nowhere. so it was like total havoc, and it was slightly stressful but it was still fun cuz we laughed at each other's bloopers XD it was generally a lot comfortable than when i work with some other people. or person, but whatever!
zipai when you're bored! i fail at zipai, so unflattering to myself lolol. elise: "i just realised you two are so fair!!!"
in the midst of that chaos, someone ordered a hand-packed pint of ny super fudge chunk, one of the notoriously hard to scoop flavours. so i was like. zzzzzzzz my arm is going to fall off!!! haha but i managed to do it. then i panicked cuz i couldn't find the pint cover. turns out it was in the inner room, on a shelf that was so high up that i had to use a ladder to get it. -_- so imagine a queue of customers outside and i'm climbing up and down the ladder like a crazy woman. hahaha. after that i still had to find dry ice to put in the bag so the ice cream would stay cold... and i haven't handled dry ice before. so in my half-delirious state i use my hand to touch it, realise that it hurts like a (&^@#(&. then i get a plastic glove. and it still hurts like @*(^#% but i managed to get the job done!! then someone orders another pint again. (Y) this time i was a bit saner, and i realised that things like TONGS exist for this purpose so my fingers don't hate me. (: and it was so cool because i was keying in this order at the cashier when i hear "omg is that you." and i look up and it's JUNXIN from primary school, who i met at the smu interview too!!! awesome~~~ another pleasant surprise! i guess more people do come to great world city than i'd previously imagined! :D
okay i'm supposed to work at dempsey bnj's tmr morning/aft, the first time i'm going there. i heard it's really pretty and big! i hope i don't get lost on the way there. lol. bedddd
