Oops!
More than a month since my last entry. Life has been busy. I am finally finished painting my house and am now in the final unpacking and organizing phase. It feels really good. I need to get some pictures hung and decide which chotchkes I'm going to display. Then I need to get everything else stored somewhere other than the spare room. As it is right now, if I had guests, they have nowhere to sleep. I'm not planning on going anywhere this weekend so that, along with cleaning my truck are high on the list of priorities. And yes, I know I need to take some pictures of the finished project.
Hero and I are working through some issues on the barrel pattern. I think our problem stems from him being slightly uncomfortable in the right lead and both of us getting nerved up before a competitive run. Uncomfortable because he's used to going left (from roping) not in pain uncomfortable. So we are doing lots of exercises to the right and working on our shoulder control. He's really coming which is exciting and its also been a lesson that I need to be less of a chicken and more assertive with him. I've been riding lots since the weather has been nice. I'm so glad that spring is here.
