Got a question for you all:
What are the rules for historical fiction? If I wanted to, say, write a book about the Titanic, using all the real passengers, and, I dunno, say that the captain intentionally hit the iceberg and that Molly Brown was really an imposter fleeing from the law, could I do that? [Random example. That would be a lousy book.]
