So I was typing along happily in Word 2003 last night, doing good, no problem, when I got to some word choice I wasn't happy with and right-clicked for synonym suggestions. And in the menu that came up there was the option: Translate.
Lo and behold! Word 2003 has a built-in translation program!
So I w00ted and translated some stuff to test it, and spent some time today writing a quick story in Spanish (which you can do, with no problem, by setting the document language -- and then you can type a word in English and ask it for a translation -- and it will correct your spelling and grammar! No more gender problems for me!), and am completely happy.
Speaking of written works in Spanish: The cast of La ciudad de las bestias has seen its first death, just some red-shirted ensign that got hit in the chest with a poison dart. I actually confess to having enjoyed it in the last chapter or so; mainly because Idiot!Alex's Awesome!Grandmother got into a fight with BiggerIdiot!Leblanc, but partially because there's been some actual plot -- conspiracy mostly, slight action.
Going to see The Ladykillers tonight. Am hopeful.
