So I'm about fifty pages from the end of la Piedra Filosofal, which kind of gives me a fuzzy feeling. I don't doubt that I'll finish it, barring disaster or a sudden lack of interest.

Why does inability seem like an unacceptable reason to not finish something, but boredom is an acceptable one?
