Basic Updates
Moisturizer Update: The shelves of Rite Aid are terrifying, and I, uh, couldn't actually find anything that was recommended, so I picked up some Garnier Nutritionoise because it was 30% off. Also, it must make you look beautiful, because it's spelled like French.
General Update: My mood has been surprisingly good for the last few weeks, much more energy and motivation. I didn't think taking a one-a-day vitamin would make a difference but it actually has.
Lost Update: You guys probably know that I've been on the Lost bitterness train for the past season and a half or so. Well, season four has started up, and I gave it three episodes, and...I'm smitten again. People are acting smart again, things are happening--I haven't been this consistently entertained by this show since it was thrust on me halfway through season one. I just love the helicopter crew to death. All of them. Ben remains a thing of beauty and a joy for ever. Matthew Abbadon makes me giggle. (tahmthelame reports that when he first showed up at Hurley's nuthouse, engelhardtlm1 gasped, "The Haitian?" And then we had to discuss crossovers where Ben calls Mr Bennett on the phone and they talk about raising teenage girls, but that's another subject entirely.) The "catchup" episode was a howler because it made very clear how useless so many of the season two subplots were absolutely pointless. I almost see that as a chance for the writing crew to pause and think about what exactly they had, and what they should carry on with. Guys, if this is what bringing on Brian K. Vaughn does for your show, then never let him go.
