Page 52 or so in la Piedra Filosofal, and I'm having the time of my life. I've stopped looking up every single unfamiliar word, which is good in that it keeps me going and bad in that I'm learning solely from context. I seriously need to take another formal class. Maybe there'll be one in the local community college this summer.
Over the last couple days I've also taken to sticking in LotR:TT and reading along with the Spanish subs. (No dubbing, alas.) It's very difficult and entirely too much fun. The name they use for Treebeard is just hilarious.
