Tonight is our radio volunteer appreciation dinner, and the mayor declared it RIS Volunteer day, despite the fact that it is also Weed Day and Columbine Day and Hitler's birthday and things. I really can't think of a day I'd less like to be honored on. It's the thought that counts, I guess, and not the horrible associations.
Went out for Chinese with work people at lunch. Did not show off my new party trick of reading kanji, because one of them was actually from China. Also, because the menus were all in English.
My brother's visiting this weekend! :)
