I swear I'm not an alchemist. I don't dabble in that stuff, all right? But somebody's got to sell chemicals and equipment to all those kooks out there. So maybe the herbs aren't as pure or the alembics as clean as they ought to be...it's tough times, you know, with the plague and all. And the customers are all heretics anyway, right? But I seriously don't know why that gunk at the bottom of my lead vial turned it into gold. I totally did not mean to offend both God and nature. Now...can you please not burn me at the stake?
2) Killing Time
Death isn't all it's cracked up to be. Fifteen years after his accidental demise at the greatest frat party in history, the ghost of Brian Newton is bored, bored, bored. Haunting drunks isn't fun anymore, and as for invisibility...well, you see one house full of naked sorority chicks, you've seen them all. He needs something to keep himself busy. A couple of buddies would really liven things up. Some hard-partying frat brothers, that'd make the afterlife worth afterliving. Brian Newton has just decided it's time for a high-stakes pledge week, with the harshest hazing on campus.
He's not out for revenge. He's just killing time.
3) Or
Three trapped miners, five hours until rescue, and just one tank of oxygen. Sometimes fate takes a smack at you, but sometimes it forces you to take control. Should they settle this with a lottery, a fight? A close look at priorities? A noble sacrifice, or a more honest bid for survival? A mutual death by sharing evenly what will only sustain one? Some say that hell is powerlessness, but these miners thinks that hell is too much choice.

These were excellent titles to work with! :)
