I like the concept of this meme, robbed from jd3000.

If you give me one or more titles of stories I didn't write, I'll give you a summary of the nonexistent story.

writing, highlights, memes

1. Patterns of Nature

You don't get a lot of murders in an Eskimo village. But after a local ivoryworker is found with half an elk antler rack lodged in his chest, wise woman Makulaku must strap on her mukluks and solve the crime to preserve the village peace and help the sculptor's soul move on. Can the fact that his death coincided with the whale migration provide the clue she needs?*

2. The Contradiction

A casual chat about childhood memories reveals that sisters Rachel and Laura Stein have different recollections of Rachel's seventh birthday party. At first they laugh it off, but Rachel's curiosity pushes her to investigate. She finds no photographs in her albums to confirm either story. Was that dark-haired boy from next door in attendance, or wasn't he? And what exactly happened that night after all the guests went home?

3. Magic and the Single Girl

Wanna-be flapper Agnes Mulligan is hopeless on the dance floor, too shy for sequins and feathers, and can't hold her gin. It's a good thing she has that chalk pentagram in her apartment to keep her occupied. But when she accidentally conjurs a particularly lively incubus that wants to experience New York to the fullest, who will end up showing whom a good time?

*I do not actually know anything about Eskimos, forgive me.

This IS fun. :)
