To a classic rock soundtrack, like your dear old Daddy taught you." *Shakes head* "I suddenly feel as if we've been doing it all wrong all these years."
Dean: *Grins* "Well, we're not all so lucky as to have an advanced degree in BS--"
Peter: "--that's just a B.S., for the record, and I'm actually a PhD--"
Dean: "--nah, pretty sure I got it right the first time--anyway, we can't all afford to carry giant cattle prods and cruise around the big city in a shiny geeked-out...what is this thing anyway, a rebuilt hearse?" *Raps the hood of the Ectomobile* "Know what I'm saying, Doc?"
Peter: "...Ambulance. It was an ambulance. But that's a very good point. You guys probably never had to apply for a grant in your lives. Egon, how come we just don't load up on unregistered weapons and common sodium chloride, drive some craptacular relic of muscle car yore and save ourselves an ungodly amount of money?"
Egon: *Disdainful pause* "...I didn't spend eight years in school and rack up thousands of dollars in student debt to run around playing Jed Clampett with condiments, Peter."
Louis (in the background, eyeing the contents of the Impala's trunk, to Sam): "Boy, I bet you guys could use a good lawyer..."
