An Apparent Problem With Many Friends

After having an interesting chat with one of my girl friends this weekend, i've come to the conclusion when when ur in a relationship, whether it's serious or not, ur friends and ur significant other's friends automatically assume that you don't have a mind of ur own anymore. They assume that whoever ur dating controls ur every thought and every move. I'm sorry, but to my friends, and anyone elses, GET OVER THAT!! it's like my mom always says, the person you love SHOULD be ur best friend....if not at first...then they should grow to be. Well, who do u wanna hang out with most often, UR BEST FRIEND! duh! well old friends just don't seem to understand that. so wut do they do, they blame it on the significant other! it's ridiculous! guy friends, girl friends, wutever! they can't seem to understand that a relationship like that is different from all others! it's not that they've been replaced or are liked any less, it's just that things are different and things work on a different level. and instead of simply coming to that conclusion, they blame not seeing u or ur significant other on the other person. Ok i'm pretty sure that if a mind controlling device existed, that neither I or anyone else has access to one. so to my friends, ur friends, anyone's friends out there that have this believe that just becuz one of their friends is in a relationship that they are under the control of whoever their in the relationship with, just got over that and find sumone to be in a relationship w/ urself and quit spending ur lives blaming others for sumthing completely stupid. to my friends and anyone elses who have this mind control theory, why don't u just ask whoever it is that ur sooooo upset about not being around, and ask them who is control of their actions, thoughts, times, or MIND for that matter. and i can assure you all, it's not who u assume it is. Funny thing about ASSumptions dont' you think.
