Well, what a Sat.
Today is a gorgeous day in NC. The sun is out and it isn't cold. I know I should take it in before it does something unexpected. Well, so much has happened since my last post. I left that morning job that I had. It was not working out at all. I have applied again to a couple of places, and I hope something will come about. I am subbing again at the school I have been at since August. I love it there, and I would like to get a full-time job there if I could. I may be able to volunteer more until I get another job again. I really liked that, and it makes me feel good about what I am doing in my life.
The car--well, I GOT IT!!!! It is such a wonderful car. It is a 2001 Chevy Malibu, gold. I have fallen in love with it. I haven't named it yet. I have a few names in my mind, but I am not sure yet. Well, mom got her taxes done. It was amazing. We met up at the bank and she gave me money. She gave me money to pay off the stuff that she put on my credit AND she gave me a present. She gave me my first car payment!!! That makes me very happy. Well, my insurance is with the same place mom and Raymond are with. Raymond used to date the agent. I love her, and we still have a good relationship. I went there and she got me a good insurance package. I got full coverage, but she was able to get me a good price. That made me very happy. I guess it helps when you have had your liscense for a long time and your record is spotless.
Well, how I got the car. My brother works on cars a a dealership. We also have a family friend that works there. He has known us for ages. I came in, told him exactly what I was looking for and what I needed, and let him at that. I told him the price, the fact I didn't want to get a co-signer, and we worked something out. He called in a few favors, but it worked really well. Out of all of it, i also got a savings account at a credit union. A condition to getting the loan for the car was to open a savings account at the credit union. That was good.
Now, if I can save the money you better believe that I am going to plan a trip up to Houghton for graduation. WOOHOO. I really am excited about that. I have been wanting to come up for so long. I am saving as much as I can. I am doing my taxes tonight. I have to get my cat fixed with it though. That is a sad story. But it needs to be done. I love my little baby, but I just don't want him to get any of my mom's cat's pregnant.
I am still trying my hardest to lose the weight. Things are going semi-well. I didn't get to work out as much this week as I wanted. But I did work my obliques out though. They were sore for about two days. I have been able to go up on wieght with my thighs, tricepts, and chest. My biceps are still struggling though. Working with the kids at BCA though are great. I always find ways to use my muscles. I pick them up, run with them on the play ground, and do whatever I can.
Anyway, we will see what will happen in the next week or so. I love you all. THanks for keeping me in your prayers. They have blessed me.
