So, I have an interview on Tuesday with my old employer (Graybar) for a CSR position. I'm going the self-fulfilling prophecy road and assuming that I have the job since my previous job with them was 4x more complicated than the CSR position. Thing is, do I want the position?
Convergys
-I was hired in April and by January, I'm Senior Sales Coach.
-Nationwide. I could transfer to another account/site if I get sick of NC.
-I'm most likely going to be made TL (supervisor) in the next couple months which means more money and it looks hella good on my resume.
-Stress levels for management/coaching staff in my department are through the roof in comparison to the pay level.
-No real loyalty - they just took the two senior sales coaches, said y'all aren't working out and dumped them back on the phones. REALLY? Would it not have been a better idea to take them to the side a MONTH AGO and advise them of their shortcomings and give them the opportunity to change? As a fucking result, I have FIVE fucking hours of coaching with the damn potato-head new hires while training a new coach on Monday.
Graybar
-Instant two year tenure.
-Better pay.
-Better benefits.
-No real opportunity for advancement.
-Stress levels are still high.
I need to figure out what I want.
