So, another strike against the company...
So, I only got paid for 69 hours worked.
I did not get paid for Labor Day. Apparently, it is their policy to not pay workers for holidays while in their probation period. Fine, it's legal (damn straight I checked!) but IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE BEEN INFORMED. Every other employer I've had before (excepting McD's & the movie theater) has paid me for holidays while being a n00b employee.
Also. They are only paying me per my schedule, not actual hours clocked in. I work 38.5 hours a week so I should have a 77 hour paycheck. However, my drive is rather erratic so I could get to work as early as 9:30 or be hauling ass in the door to clock in on time. I didn't think anything of it; I just clocked in as soon as I got there and started working. So I accumulated an additional 2-3 hours doing this over two weeks.
Yeah, they paid me for 69 hours.
Fuck them. I'll get my ass there and go park it in the break room (which has no tables and a couple chairs stacked up because they expect everyone to eat at their desk) until I hear the fucking buzzer in the warehouse blare 10 AM.
Also, there is not enough WORK. Goddamn it, it sucks so much to have nothing to do.
I have to keep looking for another goddamn job.
