Post for fencing folks
Just a reminder, and a message for the new fencing folks too. Hence a public post (rare for me)...
There is a Yahoo group for the Sheffield Chapter which we use as our mailing list to share news related to the group (including social events sometimes, and pictures etc). There is also a Yahoo group for the SSS as a whole. To join the groups, you need to be invited because the groups are private for SSS members only.
If you are a SSS bod (or about to be, like summer_moth) comment here and give your email address, either Rick or I will add you to the groups.
I use my LJ as a backup for announcements, in case the mailing list goes wonky (which we've had problems with in the past before we used Yahoo for the lists). We also both keep people's mobile numbers and email addresses in case we need to contact someone in the Sheffield Chapter urgently.
