Most of the things you can buy at the central stations are more expensive than in usual shops, so pay attention to the prices. :)
Does the train to Frankfurt go through Cologne? 'Cause then you could just get on here, couldn't you?
I'm happy to read that your weekend was so nice. :)

that's actually one of the main reasons i didn't buy anything. i was wondering if i could find that stuff elsewhere. i've seen some of it at kaufhof, but it wasn't any cheaper, and since i have so little time, it might just be the best anyways, since it's all so central. i could just pop over to köln, do a little shopping and be back home. instead of wandering around either of the cities looking for that stuff everywhere else.
yeah, that's the worse part. the train does go through köln, but i can't get on there because my ticket doesn't start till bonn and it's an ice so my studentenausweis isn't good for that. at least 90% of the time they always come around after every new stop and check tickets. and i'd get busted. it would be ok if i were a schwarzfahrer on a last leg of my trip, as the ticketchecker would remember me but probably wouldn't ( ... )
