my nephew just called me!!!! you have no idea how happy that makes me. i've been kind of depressed on and off lately, and today i was feeling pretty lonely. but then i chatted with vanita for about an hour and a half (always puts me in a good mood) and then gavin called me! i bought him a phone card so he could call me and he finally did! he just got out of school a few days ago, which is why he hasn't before. he's at school till i go to bed. almost, anyways. we talked for half an hour and the card ran out, so i'm putting more money on it and he said he'll call me back in an hour or so. even if he doesn't remember, that's ok. it made my day to talk with him period, let alone an entire half an hour. this kid is so tongue-tied on the phone. even with his parents or friends. hardly says two words and just wants to get off. so it means a lot to me that he wanted to talk for so long and kept finding things to make conversation. that's really not like him. i guess he misses me as much as i miss him. =D

ok. well the sun is shining now so i'm going to go sit in it. i've been neglecting lj lately - at least the reading and answering part - sorry. will get to that later.
