Kibum walked out from the tall building, hurrying himself to stride further from the dark towering shadows that dominate the rocky path beneath him. His worn out self involuntarily heaved a sigh as a silent complain for another sickening day.
He just needed to be away from the intimidating feeling the current place gave him. He just needed to get out from the suffocating air for a while. He just needed to inhale the fresh air and claim his freedom back for the night. Just like how he always spends it with him.
Kibum glanced at the watch on his left wrist as he smiled.
It’s almost time.
A black convertible cabrio shone its headlights from the end of the street, swiftly approaching him almost in the third count of his fingers. The car stopped and the driver’s window rolled down, a man in his rumpled business suit flashed a smile -a sultry one that invited Kibum to let out his laugh in the hushed space around him. Jinki chuckled quietly at his boyfriend’s mockery as he flung his head a bit so he could see more clearly through the messy strands of hair which rested lazily on top of his forehead.
“Are you ready now?” The chocolate-coated voice asked. Their lips met for a moment before Kibum then placed himself comfortably on the passenger’s seat and the car drove away with a speed that went along with the sound of their heartbeats.
Cold air and harsh wind scraped Kibum’s skin as he swayed his arms through the open-top to greet the sky. The sting and chill felt like a great wave of relief that bought the passion and spirit inside him to life. Kibum giggled as his dancing tickled his cheeks. Secretly he stole a glance at Jinki from the corner of his eyes, their gazes gradually collided and their triumphant smiles soon changed into joyful laughs that cracked in the open air.
The ride carried on with a steady momentum, the starry night above them and the fragrance of dream and solace blanketing their senses, delivering an enthralling warmth to their exhausted beings.
They need no destination, they need no certain place where they’re supposed to be at the end of that day. Every night was always the same, them escaping from their life, from their role, whatever it was that bound their liberty. They needn’t all the time in the world, it only required a blink of one night, a strong desire to be together, and the bravery to face the future even without their beautiful fantasy in their next day of reality.
They would disappear from their time and look for a source of comfort and energy, they would jump off the boundary and relish in the delight of defying gravity, stroll along the endless road to a hidden place the world wouldn’t ever find out where they probably be.
It was all for the fun, for the sake of their sanity, a good split second to waste without any judging stare or painstaking occurrence to go through like in every minute of their day. Because this moment, when the ride had come to stop and the view beyond them was nothing but silver dusts and frolicking asteroids, the time was theirs to hold, theirs to treasure thoroughly. When Kibum’s hand met Jinki’s and their problems ceased to exist, when their lips brushed against each other in complementing kisses and everything seemed like a glimmering reverie, when their whispers of love and intimacy gently formed a string of deep serenity, when the rest of the night grew warmer and what’s left to breath in was the wild heat from their exposed skins.
They would drape themselves with their tangled arms and a content smile would adorn their faces. The tingle of their kisses and touches would still linger on every inch of their bodies as Jinki and Kibum -two souls in search of love- clasped their hands together, watching the azure dawn to appear on the horizon, witnessing another sunrise, another day in each others' company.

actually I've been wanting to make a full OnKey song-fic drabbles for their album The First (coz every SHINee's song that I listen to always gives me a plot for OnKey fic 8D god I'm freaking obsessed). But I really shouldn't be writing crap for this time being though I ended up doing it lol.
Finished this drabble while listening to To Your Heart until I was starting to feel sick to the song seriously why can't writing Wine of Ages be this easy? TT▽TT
