(no subject)
Not a lot has gone on since last I updated. I've gotten more immunotherapy shots and the backsides of my arms ACHE and are bruised in spots.
sucky.
I had my appt with my new gyn. and she respected my wish to not have her mucking about down there at this time and said we'd do a pap next month. Which is good, because July is my normal month for those things as well. She had blood taken so we could make sure my hcg (pregnancy hormone) level has disapeared. Because if it hasn't that means I've still got bits inside me and that will mean a D and C. Which is something I'd really really like to avoid.
She also wants me to pay close attention to any pain I have that seems uterine. Wants to see if it's worse now that I'm not pregnant, wants me to start having a normal period see if it's bad again. (um it was bad while I was pregnant and it's worse now) So we are giving it a month to settle down and I'm to report back July 14th. At which time we will discuss all the symptoms. Sign me up to get my tubes tied and see if I need to get a laproscopy or if ultra stron BC pills will suffice.
In other news. My mother is going to be here on the 23rd. She will be leaving on the 28th with Morgan. Who won't be back until August 11th I believe. This is going to be very weird.
So, of course, since my mother is visiting and I haven't seen her in two years. I'm busy as a bee, flitting here at there around the house. Hanging up pictures. Dusting. De-stinking Jamies old room and in general trying to clean and prettyify the house. I'm also making new matching curtains for the living rooms (we have one by the front door. Then another across from it, sort of separated by a cut out wall. This one doesn't have the tv, but instead, has a fireplace and our lizard. Since we have a big huge-screen tv that's fairly old. It doesn't show tv well in the presence of light. Our old curtains were to thin and let light through. I happen to have about 20 yards of upholstery fabric in a sort of 'jean' blue though, that will make lovely curtains. I prefer that rooms be one dominant color (and I love jean blue) then dress it up with lots of pictures and gaudy bits. Like my Witch Trick or Treat paper mache bag that has an aloe vera plant in it. Or some of my paintings hanging on the wall. To bad one of the couches is hideous though. 70's gold. Yeah. But it was 7 dollars. so HA. At least the other two match, which is not my fault either as the love seat is from airman's attic and the recliner from Becky's back porch.
Ok. Well off to take the mass quantity of bags in the living room to airman's attic (Morgan couldn't find any hangers in her closet so I made her get rid of some clothes) then to the library. I have to update the books I've read to darnit. Like 20 more LOL.
Oh and I'm still obsessing about Vince. But I'm trying not to think about him at all (not working) so I won't think about him. I dunno whether he pissed at me, if Dana is pissed at me. What. They haven't called and Dana was supposed to call to let me know what's up with cleaning. But nope. argh.
