Hmmmm, I'm updating! Wow! more than once this week. Amazing hehehe.
Ok, well yesterday was the sonogram. I'll be 9 weeks on Saturday. Funny, baby has all the signatures of an almost 9 week old fetus, but is the size of a 9.5 week old fetus. Wulfe and Diane warned me that he tends to make large babies, it runs in his family. That seems to be the case here. The sonogram lady was amused.
My sister gave birth to a 13lb baby for her first. Owyn, my last was a little over 9lbs. Ingrid, Wulfe and Dianes last was almost 10lbs and she's a tiny little thing (like about 10lbs underweight)
E called yesterday and we had a pretty good conversation, the kids had pretty good convo's with him too. He and Ian made lots of fart noises at each other and talked about Daddy's new turtle. Cept for Owyn who ran out of stuff to say to him and wanted to get back to 'In Search of Dr. Seuss' .
This was recorded off of TNT in 1994 that I've kept all this time (I loooooove Dr. Seuss, I did a bunch of college projects on him, have the best biography of him, etc. etc.. Looooove him. He's my hero besides Jim Henson.
Think about it. Who are some of the biggest influences on children of this era? Who were some of the bigggest influences on children of my era? Oh yeah, those two (as far as I'm concerned)
Anyways, off of that soapbox....
I'm making mead today. Was going to do it yesterday, but just didn't end up getting around to it.
Wulfe's blood brother Buddha is coming by to visit today. I'm really nervous. Diane is too. Wulfe's just estatic. The man-love here is visible. You can tell when Wulfe is talking to him on the phone. He's flushed, grinning and giggles like a school-girl. It's soooo cute. So I'm nervous about meeting him. He's just gotten back from Iraq. Is a huge part of Wulfe's life and I'm not only a new addition, but they DIDN'T have an open marriage last time he and Buddha talked. He's prepared to like me because Diane picked me out, but.... Oh and he doesn't know I'm pregnant. So I'm going to have to hide for a bit while he and Wulfe talk LOL.
