Garlic Mashed Potatoes

You know I just love potatoes. They are so versatile. You can fry, boil, bake, slice, dice, all kinds of wonderful things!!

So here's a cool recipe

5 medium-size potatoes, peeled, cut into eights
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup warm milk
6 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon roasted garlic
salt
pepper

oPlace potatoes in a 4 quart pan/dutch oven. Add enough water to cover; add 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil over high heat (7-9 minutes). Reduce heat to medium. Cook until potatoes are fork tender (15-18 minutes). Drain.

oPlace potatoes in a large mixer bowl. Add warm milk, butter, and garlic. Beat at medium speed until smooth (2-3 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.

It does serve about six people. Why have boring mashed potatoes?
