He's starting to wake up but his body is bitterly opposed to this plan. He has the worst headache of his entire life, and he's been punched unconscious once or twice

[Groans, rolls over on his bench, too asleep to read anything into your concern.]

[Light has to pinch the bridge of his nose in annoyance.]

I take it you sleep on benches on the regular basis?

[Jack squints up at you.]

Not that it's anythin' to ya, but I don't.

[Light lets a disarming smile slide onto his face.]

Ah. Forgive the assumption, then. It's not often that I see someone sleeping on a bench that's neither homeless nor currently drunk.

[ambastardly]

[Just the word DRUNK makes Jack's stomach turn unpleasantly.]

Yeah, well, you ain't that far off. But it ain't like I make it a habit or anythin'.

[Light lets out a soft chuckle, almost as if he was amused.]

I see. Then you're hung-over?

That's a word for it. Who're you, anyway? Ya new?

You seem a bit young to be drinking, but that's none of my business. Anyway, I'm Light Yagami. I am, unfortunately, rather new.

[rolls his eyes] What, you from one of them worlds, too? Well, were I come from, it ain't a big deal, that's all.

As well as anyone else, I suppose. This place does seem take some time getting used to. Have you been here long?

I been here for, say a week. S'alright, I guess, I mean... Could be worse.

Japan. You must be at least 20 to drink legally there.

You seem like you've been here longer than that.

Maybe it's been a few days longer, I dunno. I just get used to stuff real quick, that's all.
