work work.....want my car!
Geeze I am so freaking tired. I'm tired of work and I shouldn't be. I wish I had a whole lot of money to pay off everything I want. I had so much stuff I want to talk about, but my body and my eyes are just to tired to talk. Well, last week was really awesome, I will go ahead and say that. To make a long story short, my friends through me a suprise bday party last Saturday. It was so awesome. Totally not what I expected. That Friday, we had a party too. A bday get-together for my roomie and my friend Will. So all in all, a really great weekend. But then the week came. I have been working insane amounts of hours just so I can buy this car I want. Last week I put in oh lord I dunno a lot...I worked a bunch of 14 hour shifts, plus my day off. And this week I am doing it all over again. I got reinstated at work too last Friday. I wanted to go cash my check, and take an hour off for lunch, but couldn't b/c at the time we were really busy. Anyways, I ended up going to cash my check with Jamie and Krystal, but by the time we got back towards my job, it had already been close to 30 min, plus I hadn't eaten. So, I figured, whatever, I'm already late, it isn't going to matter. So we got food, and as we were in the drive thru, Jamie's car starts makin weird noises as if the engine was idling. So, we pull into the Chevron to get gas, her car starts steaming under the hood, and it was coming from the radiator. So, Jamie twists the cap a little to let some of the steam out, and big ole' dumb me goes up there, twists it a little to let more out, then more, and BOOOOOOOOOOM the freaking thing exploded!! It was a volcano eruption of anit-freeze and a little water. So, it splashed my face, (I had glasses on so it didn't get into my eyes thankfully) and on my shirt. It also burned my hand. Man I felt dumb. So, I ended up going back to work and getting there about an hour and 10 min after I left. I explained what happened, but the computer generated the occurence for coming back late, and I had more than 5 occurecnces, which means I would have to be reinstated. And so I did. But instead of working until 10 as I had planned I left at 4:30 b/c my hand was hurting. I'm ok now though. My friend who also works there may get fired though. I really hope not, I would hate for her to leave. She really needs this job and she has a son that she takes care of. Everything seemed to be going her way, but now she's having problems. Anyhow, she will find out tomorrow wether or not she is going to stay or go. I'm hoping they will reconsider her and let her stay. She was gone most of the time due to migranes. That's the one thing I hate most about this job. It doesn't matter why you aren't there, you get an occurence no matter what. It's stupid really. I mean things happen, and things come up, some of which are out of our control, yet those jackasses don't care, they'll place an occurence on your account faster than mold on spoiled food. It's just not right. The only reason I stay is b/c it's the only job in Beaumont anyone can get making the amount of money I make sitting down and taking calls. It's child's work. But as easy as it is, it still sucks.
Well, the other thing is this. Jamie tells me today that my friend who I am buying the car from wants me to pick it up this week b/c his uncle is thinking about buying it. And I can't b/c I don't have the cash yet. If his uncle buys it he will get the asking price. When Jamie talked to him, he said he would give it to me much less. I really want this car. It may not be the most ideal car to have, but lord, it's more than what I have now. It will get me where I need to be. And what really sucks about the whole thing is that the whole reason I have been picking up all these ungodly hours is just so I could buy this car. It was my whole motivation to work this much. Now I hear that he may end up selling it to his uncle. Talk about crappy timing. It's not the car I imagined I would have, but like I said, it's a car. There is a car I saw for sale, but for one, I don't know how much it is going for, and second of all, I don't know the ppl selling it so therefore I don't know if they are selling me a good reliable car or some lemon. I mean, it's newer and it's a car I said I use to want. But, if it doesn't work out with this car I may get from my friend, I guess I will try and save the money up to buy this other one. I would like it a lot more. It's really cute and it would go along with my whole Tinkerbelle theme that I want for my car. Shoot, who knows, maybe it's a good thing that I don't get this other car. I need to find out how much the other one is going for. Hopefully somewhere in my budget. I saw a bunch of stuff at Hot Topic I wanted to buy for my car. It's really cute. Yes, it's Tinkerbelle, and some may say it's for little girls, but screw them, my car is gonna look awesome. I can't wait. Geeze, I really need some sleep. I didn't realize just how late it was....Night for now...more when I have time...I still have much left to say, just not enough time to say it.
