I am happy I've almost made it to the midpoint of the year. Because everything around me has been such a whirlwind I almost completely forgot I had a livejournal. I just remembered a few days ago. That's why I haven't written in so long. School has been tough but things are getting better. I am happy I'm almost at the year's halfway point. I am counting down the days till the end of school.
I'm still with alex. Recently, we had a falling out, initiated by him, in which we didn't talk for 2 days which made me more depressed than ever, and i bawled my eyes out, but it worked out in the end. We were able to talk things through and work it out. That's the one thing about us..we have good communication...neither one of us likes to fight or get too angry...we has to agree on what our relationship was based on and now that's ok. His band is doing really well...they got some good publicity in the New Haven Advocate. The have a gig in NY at the Continental. the band is thinking about creating their own label. Both of their goals is to live just off their music. He's always told me if he could just make enough to live off of and be able to play his music for a living he would be the most happy ever. He's the most musically gifted and talented person I've ever met. He can play any instrument and excels at the guitar, bass, and drums. His has strong vocals, great range. He would blow john mayer out of the water. I have hope in their music and believe something good will come out of all their hared work.
with the holidays coming I've been craving chocolate and having m&m attacks daily. I'm also broke. I spent so much money getting presents for everyone including the principal, 2 custodians and secretaries at the school. and then extra stuff for the rents. I don't make barely anything for the work i do everyday . it's sad. but I am lucky to have a real full time job with health coverage so i can't complain.
The new bands I dig are:
jimmy eat word--the new cd i have been playing non-stop!
anberlin
emery
silverstein
spiraling
I'm founding out that the best stuff isn't that mtv crap. the bands on victory and tooth and nail records have the best music but just don't get the publicity of the unoriginal but popular bands.
