(no subject)
OK, today is day 2 without a cigarette, which was unexpected since I did not really plan for yesterday to be day one, it just sort of worked out that way what with me having a mild hang over and no smokes for most of the day and then saying to myself "I'll just get some later..." and thus it is prolonged. Am I quitting, you might ask? I dont know. I dont like the pressure to not fail. So, we will see if I can make it til bed time. Then I will decide tomorrow if I want to continue this for another day.
I watched some movie last night with Woody Harrelson and Salma Hayak called After the Sunset. Pretty lame for a cat burglar movie that has Salma in a bathing suit for almost all of her onscreen time. How could that not work? Oh well. Pierce Brosnan was fucking weak in the film too. No charm or flair what so ever.
I'm trying to figure out things to do tonight, and it looks like bowling is taking a lead over all the rest. Woohoo bowling. I should also eat tonight, so I may take girlfriend out to eat somewhere reasonably pleasant. I just hate eating out on a friday night. I bought Truman Capotes' In Cold Blood and Robert Chalmers' Who's Who in Hell today. I think that I've read In Cold Blood before, but I cant really remember it, so we'll see if I have, and something about the Chalmers book seemed interesting. I hope its better than the fucking martin amis book that I am reading, because that one sucks, and I loved the Rachel Papers.
Nothing of interest to report, unless I want to think that the early google reports of the pope dying was a vatican april fools day, in which case i love the vatican to death. I doubt it though.
