Fic Master Post

Sep 16, 2020 18:32

A (doomed) attempt to link to all my fic in one post. Hmm, hmm, hmm.

PLEASE NOTE: Warnings and ratings are not in this post; they will be at the link (you may have to scroll up). Pairings are noted.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own anything you recognize in this writing. This is all fanfiction, and is based on the work of someone else. I am not making any profit from this writing. Titles often come from quotes, poetry, or song lyrics. When this is the case it is noted in the original fic post.

YOU WILL FIND HEREIN: Batman (The Dark Knight), Bones, The Chronicles of Narnia, Gilmore Girls, Harry Potter, Heroes, Inception, Ironman, The Office, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pushing Daisies, X-Men. Fandoms are alphabetical, as is fic within each fandom. :]

Batman (The Dark Knight)

Spring Drabble. Gordon’s mother, pale and thin and startlingly loyal, will not pack her bags. “One more spring,” she says.

Pirates and Fair Maidens Drabble. Nine year old Bruce and Rachel play games, and Rachel declares her independence. Gross boys. [Bruce/Rachel]

------

Bones

Things Set Straight Booth, Bones, and a trip to the beach (to feed the seagulls, naturally). [Booth/Brennan]

------

The Chronicles of Narnia

Five Times Susan Almost Remembered Narnia Susan is eighteen and three different boys want to take her dancing on Saturday night. One boy, though, wants to take her to an archery range - something different, he says, and grins toothily - and despite the curlers in her hair screaming otherwise, the pumps gazing at her forlornly from her closet, his is the invitation she accepts.

Delight in The Recognition Suddenly, Caspian wonders what he doesn't know about Susan. What no one ever bothered to write down. [Susan/Caspian]

------

Gilmore Girls

In Fair Stars Hollow Where We Lay Our Scene Rory's reading Romeo and Juliet for school. Jess brings it up. Rory rants, Jess flirts, fluff ensues. [Jess/Rory]

------

Harry Potter

Five Times Sirius Thought Remus Might Actually Kill Him, Possibly With The Power of His Mind (a.k.a., A Series of Sirius Mistakes, No Pun Actually Intended, Although Come To Think of It Moony That Would Have Been Quite Funny-) Sirius discovers, among other things, astrophysics and the Wrath of Remus.

Thwarted Frogs And Other Kitchen Implements Lily considered the odds of getting a word in edgewise (at the very least 5:1, and getting worse every second). Lily and the Marauders make cookies.

Portals of Discovery He shouldn’t be so surprised that he is somehow swallowing unsaid words without wanting to, but Sirius still manages to shock him into certain reactions. [Remus/Sirius]

Under One Roof Sirius has Important Information to impart to James. Also, everyone eats dinner.

------

Heroes

A Necessary Evil Bennett slowly lets go of the gun and wonders, exactly like he's not supposed to, if he's making the right decision.

And You Can Be My Long Lost Pal When Caitlin wakes up, stiff and numb, on the second day of quarantine, she knows that she cannot be just another face. These faces will get lost in the shuffle.

Countdown Conversing with Bob was a kind of art -- if you didn't sound casually interested, he'd accuse you of being emotionally involved. There is a moment in which they look at each other, and then Bob shakes his head. Bennett readjusts to life with the Company.

Echoes Charlie, postcards. [Charlie/Hiro]

Inception

And I Feel Fine So as it turns out, Arthur is in love. This is not a particularly welcome revelation, besides which he isn't quite sure what to do with it. [Arthur/Eames]

A Puppy With A Closet Full of Dunhill It turned out that Glee Club wasn’t so much a club as it was three people who were surgically attached to their iPods and wanted Barbra Streisand’s diva notes to make sweet, sweet love to their ears. Which was fine, because that was pretty much exactly who Ariadne was, too. Glee!AU. [Arthur/Eames]

But It's A Good Refrain “You have to kiss,” one of the portraits on the wall informs them in tones of sternest authority. If Arthur squints, the fierce-featured, curly-haired woman pictured reminds him a bit of one of his great aunts. In which the dream world is cupid-ing Arthur and Eames together, and it is definitely not Arthur's fault. [Arthur/Eames]

High Lonesome I'm going to build you entire worlds, he wants to say, just so I can watch you explore them. [Cobb/Mal]

The Inescapable Charm of The Countdown The worst thing about Eames, Arthur decides as he pulls his Thai leftovers from the office fridge the next day, is how infuriatingly competent he is. Arthur absolutely cannot fucking stand it. Lawyer!AU. [Arthur/Eames, Cobb/Mal]

Mushrooms From Toadstools Arthur meets Eames in the moments directly after at least three cars have exploded, which means that neither of them is particularly inclined toward introductions. [Arthur/Eames]

Untitled Daycare!AU “Children!” Yusuf says, “Truly, it is time for lunch! Lunch! You know, the time of day when you eat delicious foods and then get very sleepy and nap until your parents arrive?” [Arthur/Eames, Cobb/Mal]

Where I Intended To Be 'Oh Arthur,' his mother says rapturously after Arthur has escaped the ill intentions of the second magician and been singled out for embarrassment by Lord Godfrey’s steward through no fault of his own, 'I always hoped one of my sons would be a Heroic Archetype!' Fairytale!AU. [Arthur/Eames]

Worth The Postage Eames gives in to a sudden whim and begins to communicate only via pen and paper. Arthur is annoyed, although maybe not for the reasons he'd like to be. [Arthur & Eames]

The Wrath of The Whatever From High Atop The Thing “Pictures of Dom tonight, Eames,” Yusuf replies from the doorway. “Pictures of the man who is actually running for president or I swear to you, I will point out to Arthur that he has a stalker with no shame and a thousand dollar camera.” Political!AU. [Arthur/Eames]

Ironman

Family Portrait Tony decides what their nonexistent kids would look like. Pepper tries to get actual work done. Until she doesn't. [Tony/Pepper]

Five Women Pepper Potts Has Shown To The Door "Good morning," Pepper says pleasantly. The woman starts. "Your clothes have been dry-cleaned. I'll give you a minute to change." Pepper shows five women from five different fandoms to the door. [Tony/Pepper + Tony/Cam, Tony/Kelly, Tony/Elle, and Tony/Jean]

The Lure of Popcorn Pepper's ever-expanding job description blossoms to include late-night Ironman documentary watching. She is not entirely pleased. [Tony/Pepper]

Vacation "I don't think you are fully appreciating the gravity of this situation Ms. Potts," Tony says. "With you gone, who will match up my socks?" Pepper tries to take a vacation and fails miserably. [Tony/Pepper]

------

The Office

Better Than Okay And suddenly she's on this huge downward spiral of doom and despair because this thing is going nowhere, and Ryan is just using her, and he never really liked her, and she's been blind, and when they make the movie of her life she will cry until her mascara runs during this part, and the music will be really sad. [Ryan/Kelly]

The Clock Is Ticking You see, Karen Filipelli has a new habit -- it's deluding herself, and while she's finding it requires practice, she gets better at it every day. [Jim/Pam, Jim/Karen]

Get Out There And Jump Around It's a strange feeling, standing on this stuff that is sinking beneath her feet. It has the feeling (and she hopes she is right) that it will give, but not break. She's pretty sure KB Toys won't take back a bouncy castle with a big hole through the floor. And so, feeling absolutely ridiculous, she gives a small, hesitant, jump. [Jim/Pam]

A Natural Progression, or, Four Times Kelly Really Freaks Ryan Out and One Time She Doesn't He makes her a cupcake for her birthday. It isn't much, and yeah, he did burn it a little because he was watching basketball on TV, but he stuck a candle in it to make up for it, and hopefully she won't notice that the place with thicker frosting is also the place where the cupcake is two or three shades darker than it should be. [Ryan/Kelly]

------

Pirates of The Caribbean

After The End Jack/Elizabeth, settled debts.

------

Pushing Daisies

When I'm With You The Landscape Goes All Weird There is no sound from the next dressing room over. Olive cringes. 'Was that tactless? You know sometimes I just have no idea when I’m going to far. That’s why it’s a good thing I’m short. When you’re short, everyone thinks you’re bold and witty, not tactless.'

------

X-Men

and freedom tastes of reality "Bobby might be surprised to learn that John remembers anything from Westchester actually. Bobby’s like that. There’s black and there’s white, there’s remembering and there’s forgetting, there’s abandoning and there’s staying." John takes a road trip.
