Not much to write about today, other than the fact that I saw the movie this weekend. It was good. And more surprisingly, it was accurate (to a degree). Hugh Jackman has never looked better as Wolverine, and with this film, he puts himself up there with Christopher Reeve as "most appearances in film as a single character". I think they're both tied. Anyhow, early reports that the film sucked where largely overrated; I don't know about the unfinished bootleg, but the theatrical release was very entertaining. Also, I just got finished watching X2, and I was surprised to discover that there weren't any continuity conflicts! Yeah, that must be a first, especially for 20th Century Fox. Although I hear that this movie was put together by people who where fans of the comic, as opposed to people who where beholden to hollywood, so it didn't turn out nearly as bad as X-3 did. Anyhow, I wrote a full review of it
here, and that's all I'm going to say about it.
I called into work this morning and was told that they didn't have any work in yet. He told me to call back tomorrow; apparently they need to go over the schedule and see when they are getting new shipments in. I'm hoping Walgreens is going to call this month; I'm not terribly concerned about there not being work at the Vocational Rehab...
It's just a blah day.
