A little something I received in an e-mail:
This tower was built to show off the physical power of the excavator.
That's one powerful excavator! I bet that was quite a spectacle to watch.
Here's a list of
10 Great PC Games That Need A Comeback. I agree with most of them except for "No One Lives Forever". I had the opportunity to play the first one on a console, and man was that game ever boring. The only thing the game had going for it was the humor.

a story in ASL. You can't lie about speeding, he says.
Sales-wise, Nintendo is the clear victor of the console wars. It's clear that everyone wants to try out the revolutionary new way to game. However, I think Nintendo still leaves a lot to be desired; so much in fact, that I'd say the X-Box 360 is gaining ground. So I'd like to add to this
list of ways Nintendo can do better in 2009. 1) Put out more games. While I understand that the Wii is for everyone and drawing in a market of people who don't normally game (soccer moms), I find it off-putting when I look at the Wii's prospects and realize that that's about all that's coming out. Neither the Wii nor the DS particularly needs a library filled with fitness titles or sudoku games. 2) Stop promising things only to reneg on your commitments. The other companies could stand to benefit from this too, especially Sony. Don't tell us that you have awesome new hardware, and then tell us that it's only coming out in certain areas in Japan, or don't announce a hardware that has additional features provided by add ons and then not release the add ons. I never quite forgave Nintendo for not providing DVD capability with the GameCube, and now I hear they are removing mp3 capability from the Wii. Hit me enough and I might stop being a fanboy. 3) No one is developing for the Wii. Provide some incentives. You can't do it all by yourselves. All the people making really cool games are doing it all for the X-Box and Playstation.
