The human body is comprised of Water, 35 liters. Carbon, 20 kilograms. Ammonia, 4 liters. Lime, 1.5 kilograms. Phosphorous, 800 grams. Salt, 250 grams. Saltpeter, 100 grams. Sulfur, 80 grams. Fluorine, 7.5, iron, 5, silicon, 3 grams, and trace amounts of 15 other elements.

That is all. What accounts for a person's personality, soul and awarness. A whole world (the individual) entire world is stopped in death. All that remains is a tombstone, a corpse/ashes, and the memories they left in other people family or otherwise.

What's the difference between a humans death and a bug, or some other animal or lifeform? More romance and drama in our lives I suppose. Humans attach meaning and drama to every thing in their lives to make us seem more than the above mentioned elements.

I am not mere flesh and bone, I am me.

And what if all I am is just the next succesion of DNA. Morality is a romantic story to be woven into a mythology of what a human being ought to be. Religion to be a source of comfort and to be woven into the great romance. Near death expierances of angels, tunnels of light, and hellfire the flashes of the unconscious mind running through whatever also happens during dreams.

No different then a heavy drug expeirance.

What if it all honestly went black? Every defeat of mine of no substance, every victory no more of consquence than a wave hitting the sand.

I wish I were older, I wouldn't be thinking these things.
