I am looking for a person who can make me a layout. Actually the LAYOUT I have is already made... BUT here is the problem... IT is in S1. I have tried to dabble a bit in S2, I've joined the communities and such and I'm struggling to get what I want to work! MEH ( Read more... )

What layout did you want converted? I'm best with s1 but I can definitely take a shot and try my best!

Okay... the layout is already in S1... it isn't too complicated... check out true_saphira

It is the account that I renamed... which is why this one says ex... yadda yadda. Just changed a few weeks ago. Anyhow, I want to be able to put that layout into S2. Go ahead and check it out and tell me what you think.

Codes? As in the Style info? All the information I put into the style to make it pop up like the layout is? Or do you want me to make the style public and give you the numbers so you can view that?

All of the overrides. So whatever you put in the large box under the customize journal area (under the 'custom options' tab) just copy and email them to me and you're done :D

http://amandatester2.livejournal.com/ that's what I have so far. Can you take a look at it? Because of the limitations in the s2 style it's going to be a tad different from what you already have, but this is pretty close. Tell me what you think so far so I know if I'm going in the right direction of making this :D

It's working. And you are right there seems to be a lot of limitations with s2, or are you not complete in your adjustments yet?

I could probably work the middle graphic that has "my life, my space, my style" so that it has the two moving star bar graphics on one graphic... I'll play around with them this afternoon if I have a chance, so you may not even have to worry about those in there at all. Less complications the better I'm sure. Any adjustments like that and all, I can do, it's all the code stuff in S2 at least that is completely foreign to me. hehehe

The bar across the top doesn't have the little heart graphics in it... would it work better of it was an image map? I can whip up a graphic with all that? Anyhow, if you see any way around stuff to make other stuff work... just lemme know.

Again thank you for doing this... I'm still good on my word for giving paid account time to the account of your choice. When this is done and I'm satisfied, you lemme know and I'll gift ya! =D

Well, there are a lot of limitations with the s2 style as well as it's up sides but I'm not completely done either :D

I have the animation shops and all those goodies so I could do that header with the sparkly thingies but I'm not too sure about the little hearts because of the way it is, but I'll look into it a bit more and tell you if it can or can't be done for sure.

But thanks for the feedback so far, I'll finish the rest of it asap :D

I don't know if you noticed but the hearts are actual links... is there anyway to put them as links? Also the hearts are coming up really weird and not in line... I thought it was just my browser so I tried several and they are not lining up... (Safari, Camino, and Internet Explorer all have them out of synch instead of a line ( ... )

Yes, you can change what the navigation AND comment links say (I can show you how to do that) but I can't add the bottom line for the navigation.

I can't put the hearts as the actual links because when I tried, it came up showing the
