Due to popular demand. . .

In response to Alex, who not-so-subtly-mentioned that I am too cryptic, which, really, she should know better, I will write this entry more as a letter to you guys. (COMMA OVERDOSE)

So, hai! I'm at Allegheny and it's cool. :D All mah peeps are in the same building as me, basically. And Heather and I have a wicked awesome room, which you guys might be able to see if we skype :3

The first week was me adjusting to classes, finding a job, and not dooming myself. Well, I got a job! Surprisingly, a very cool one! Sewing experience ftw! And I've learned a few handy things so far. Like making edges sharper, the invisi-stitch, stitching in the ditch, operating the surging and invisi-hem machines, and other stuffs. Luckily, I haven't had to cut out any patterns yet, which I hate :P So, I've been making this blue pin-striped pencil skirt for the next play, "The Pillowman." I dunno what it's really about, but meh. Clothingssss.

And my supervisor is cute and cheerful and reminds me of Liz in some ways, 'cause she knows all these cool little things that she teaches you. And she listens to cool music. Yeah.

I have two visiting professors this year, which is odd. They're both psych teachers. One, developmental psych, is really cute and sweet and excited. But that also means she's a little naive. Not like T.Lindy. She was awesome and knowledgeable. But she's nice enough, just too lenient and unstimulating, I think. My sexuality prof is more chill and involving, but still lacks the zing of Allegheny. It's actually my most interesting class, content wise. We've discussed sexuality, gender roles/stereotypes, and sexual orientation so far. Good stuff. And I learned what a Portuguese Breakfast was. *facedesk*

Spanish is cool. My prof is Spanish and has a cute accent (gosh, I keep using that adjective, don't I?) We've been talking about the Enlightenment, and I have a presentation on friday. Phew. Also, reading 18th century literature in spanish is not fun.

English is english. Nothing too exciting. Yet.

In other news, I dyed my hair, with the leftover henna. It looks a LOT REDDER, GUYS. Like, carrot red. It's a nice change. Very vibrant. Next time I'd go for the noir. Anyway, I'd like to get some purple highlights for this hair style. I think it'd look cool. but that'd counter the henna, so oh well. Later on.

It was Derek's birthday a few days ago, and a few days before that, we went Viking. Derek, Vyasar, Stars, Jonathan and I. It was very engaging. Climbing up ravine slopes, hopping across flatstones in creeks, looking at landmarks, watching Derek write runes and look for Thor's hammer, watching salamanders and freaking out about huge-ass spiders. Spiders that would eat babies.

Well, my hands are tired and I should get some work done. I hope this paints a better picture of my eclectic and mysterious lifestyle here.

the end. NO MOAR.
