The government is just messed up. What do you really expect from politicians anyway? They're always sketchy individuals. This just happened to be a case where their inner thoughts were accidentally recorded and released. Otherwise the public will always be in the dark. She's not alone when it comes to getting thrashed by the media/public. Transport minister Baird told Toronto to fuck off after claiming the proposal from Toronto didn't follow the federal guidelines. Yeah.. he later apologized, but that certainly shows that these individuals aren't suited to be running the country.

Did you hear about the eHealth scandal? All that money going into salaries, consultants and severance packages... our tax dollars going down the drain. Money that could have been funneled into an actual electronic record system or medical research or other aspects of health care.

*nods* It's incredibly stupid. She refused to apologize yesterday, and today she released "a sincere apology" (my ass!). Everyone knows she only did it because people were forcing her to.

It's even more sad because she's lost two grandparents, her father, AND her brother to cancer, yet she can make such a remark.
