The Sweet Sound of Music
My violin is fixed!! YAY, woohoo!! Now I really have to get on practicing for the concert. Two days... *gulp*.
ANYWHO my violin sounded so so pretty today, and I wrote a poem! It's not great, merely okay, but here it is anyway:
Heart, Mind, and Soul
Ebbing and flowing, the notes know no end
Rising and falling, they wash over all
And cleanse them, their soul, mind, and heart.
Building and raising, the music begins
Chipping and cutting away all defenses
Reaching the depths of soul, heart, and mind.
Growing and changing, as if angels gave song
Sprouting and reaching, towards joy, love, and hope
Connecting it to heart, mind, and soul.
Rather you see a river
Or a building so tall
Or a plant climbing up to the sky,
It's the power of music
Bringing you there
To the place where your mind, heart, and soul
Are one.
