Yay!
I have much good news!
First off, I am better (again. . . ). My eye troubles are over. Apparently it was some weird infection caused by my contacts not letting in enough air because I wear them two months at a go. I've been told in the past it's all right, because I rarely wear them more than 8-12 hours at a go, I almost never sleep in them, and so I don't build up the protein that most people do. Apparently, however, contacts, like food, have expiration dates after you open them.
Go figure.
My second bit of big news:
I have now, officially, moved out! I am sitting on my bed, in my apartment, waiting to go pick up a friend from work that will be one of my roommates. It's kind of weird because it's a guy, and most people automatically assume you must be screwing if a girl and guy live together, but we're not dating. In fact, the third roommate will be his girlfriend, so I'll be splitting rent three ways instead of two. Good for my poor bank account. *nods*
But goodness it was a mess. I've finally unburied myself and dug out all my shit and I have my computer back from being sent away for repairs (and it is mine, not a knock off labled as mine. I was thrilled. Go Acer! I love the customer service!) So, anyway, I'm washing my cloths in my new place and life is good! I've even managed to write some today, which is practically a miracle, since I only moved in Saturday and just finished unpacking today.
Hell, I even have my kitchen table put together! Granted we're still waiting on our living room furnature to be passed to us from a variety of places, but I'm okay with that. In fact, I don't mind at all. *mourns the loss of the bank account tapped to fund the move* I propose a moment of silence for my dead bank account. *Stares mournfully into wallet for a moment as a twenty-one moth salute futters about*.
But, anyway, Just thought I'd update everyone and let you know I'm not dead yet and that I'm going to try to get back into updates. Sorry about my insane life. But I have my own apartment! *happy dance*
