I'm going to post this while I remember. Plus, a few of you will probably be amused.
Anyone remember the bitch of a roommate that gave me grief all last semester? Yeah, her. So she moved out and left her fridge and some suitcase in the apartment, which is enough to get her fined. She showed back up the next day for the suitcase (she left water too, but I drank that! :P) and set her fridge outside so her friend could come and get it.
Her friend was late in coming and someone jacked her fridge. Yup. Stole it from right in front of my apartment.
This is probably really mean of me to say but. . . served her right! *nods* I felt a little sorry for her friend, because she was left in a bit of a lurch, but I don't know what the former roommate expected. *shrugs* NOT MY PROBLEM! I mean, I feel bad for her and all, but on some level. . . I think it served her right. Which is totally mean of me.
But I had to share, because I'm seriously hoping it taught her a lesson. If we'd been on speaking terms, she could have left it in the apartment and I would have gladly waited for her friend. Since we were, she couldn't, and it got stolen. I want to say karma bit her, but I don't think it was that. And I really shouldn't take so much glee in this, because I really do feel bad about her fridge getting stolen. Still. . . It just seemed to work somehow.
