This is just a x-post from my Tumblr blog so....
I had a nerdlesque musing. For those who don’t know, nerdlesque is basically burlesque with a nerd twist.
If someone was to do a nerdlesque routine as Asami Sato (Legend of Korra), I would imagine the song Beautiful, Dirty, Rich by Lady Gaga. (spare me the musical barbs) However…..if we’re sticking songs from Asian artists, a good one would be Mina Soko ni Nemure by Takada Band. It’s the ending theme to Blue Submarine No. 6 (great anime, btw) It has jazz influences all throughout, especially with the saxaphone.
