Where's the bug spray????
Ugh!!!! The beginning of the week I have been dealing with nausea and a low-grade fever from yet ANOTHER virus bug.
Thursday afternoon I was sick vomiting with a partial intestinal blockage from about 5pm on. I finally gave in at 1045pm and called my nurse who advised me to go on complete bowel rest, which means no food and limited fluids for the next 24 hours, and to call her in the morning. If I wasn't better by morning she was going to be sending me to the ER for IV meds and possible for an NG tube....no, no, no, no! Around 2am things finally settled down. Thank goodness!
Friday was spent feeling like roadkill.
Living in the trailer mom and I used to have air conditioning for when the days would get too hot, but now that we live back in apartment dwelling, we only have fans to rely on and it can get very icky-sticky hot!!! Friday night I needed to mail a package and wanted to go after hours to the Post Office so mom and I walked the girls over in the evening to get out of the hot apartment. I must have done something on the walk over cause last night I spent ALL night tossing and turning and getting NO sleep due to pain. My spine and hips were hurting so bad that there was no way that I could get comfortable. Now this morning I'm having to dose myself with full medications to fight the pain and I HATE having to do that.
Hopefully tomorrow mom and I will be able to run the errands with the girls that we were hoping to do....*keeping our fingers crossed*
