Thanks to mel_redcap, delaese, and nienna_weeper for the Birthday wishes. Mom spoiled me yesterday. We went out for lunch and later in the evening I opened presents. My aunt called last night and her and my uncle sent me money and a card. It's odd...my dad forgot my birthday, but the sperm donor left me a message online.
I feel like I'm about to float away. We have received 1.54inches of rain in the last 12 hours. Last week some of the outer lying communities flooded so rivers are already at peak levels. The creek right next to us is close to flooding, but thankfully the big field next to us is set lower and the majority of the water will go there first. The really bad part though is that all of our drains lead to the creek so since it's at flood level the drains aren't able to go into the creek so we have little lakes forming all over. About 15 minutes ago we had a very bright flash of lightning and then thunder. Yay.
