I have a student who keeps emailing me and comparing me to another teacher in another class, no doubt based on things shared between this student and a friend.
I know I shouldn't take it personally; I am able to distance myself from these sorts of things quite well, but this time it's starting to take a toll on me because I do feel self-conscious about what the student is bringing up.
Trying not to let it get to me.
