ditto on the "i'm glad you posted, i've been thinking about you."
lots of notes: 1. i've been listening to xiu xiu all night because i'm too bruised & banged up to leave the house & i'm covered in mosquito bites. "i hate my body, i hate the desert" sums it up in a lyric or two, even though i'd be ecstatic to see the desert soon. 2. your niece is just gorgeous. 3. mcdonald's cones are 59cents here. i'll mail you one. 4. i also wish for some wine, a flask, a train ticket & some mushrooms. please.
movie: intermission (it's an irish film that will hit you in one way or another) music: "ghost song" by patrick wolf summer muse: find your favorite book from childhood & read it in public, write notes & put them in balloons & release into the air, make cotton candy, buy fresh fruit from someone on the side of the road, sidewalk chalk.
zack & i went to the bookstore late this evening & read our favorite childhood books to one another, shoulder to shoulder, giggling & remembering. find someone to do that with. but make sure that your skirt doesn't get stuck in the escalator.
