Pr0n-not-pr0n update
Am near finishing the pr0n! (or what I'd hoped would qualify as such.)
The good news is, the 4000-word mark has been reached and passed. On the down side, it's not pr0n.
*facepalm*
Seriously, the first half of those 4000 words are pure G-rated angsty talk and snark, and of the remaining 2000 only a meagre few hundred can even be interpreted as foreplay; the rest is kissage interspersed with more talk and more snark.
Of course, the fact that it is G'Kar and Londo snark has to count for something, and while there's no sex, the foreplay does involve tentacles, which is a small victory at least. *g*
A question: would anyone be willing to give the fic a quick beta? (It's late s5 Londo/G'Kar, if that helps. It's also not very light-hearted.) I usually ask my betas directly, but this is a bit of a special case, I guess (no, really? *g*), and I'm not even sure what kind of beta I'd need, so... Nothing too deep, I'd say (cutting myself some slack here), mainly characterization/dialogue and pointing out any excesses of sappiness I might have indulged in. ;) If no volunteers, no problem at all, then I'll just be posting this the way it is.
(By the way: the meme/discussion I promised is materializing in my head, but hasn't made it down on paper yet... It's still coming, though.)
