Anyway, it rained today; I began to feel better after taking care of the houseplants. I watered everyone, and swapped two around for reasons of sunlight. After chatting with them for a bit, I busied myself in the kitchen - started putting together some dinner, unloaded the dishwasher, and put the water on for a cup of tea.
I turned on some music, too. And the combination of iTunes and Kitchen always equals Singing Very Exuberantly.
Sometimes, in my head, there is a narrator who sounds very much like Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett.
Dinner will be on in a few, and I've updated my phone calendar for the next week or so worth of events and social commitments. Kaitlyn called, and I'm reminded of what I'm doing with my life; and it is Very Good Indeed.
Whoops! Now there's Indigo Girls playing, and that means I better get my butt back in the kitchen and live it up a bit.
