Best lesson I've ever had

So i had my lesson today, and heres how it went:

I played scales as usual, but then i talked to my lesson teacher, Linda Bento-Rei, about GBYSO camp, and about my audition for the Melrose Symphony Orchestra. She told me that I'm an alternate for the principal flute! Not only that, but she had a piccolo for me to try and I sounded perfect on it, better than she does on hers, and I bought it today! YAY! I finally got my new piccolo. It's absolutly perfect and because since I play the "one of the maker's finest flutes ever made by Lilian Burkart herself"(Burkart Flutes), I got a proto type piccolo from them! It's the new Global Piccolo and I got all the latest features like the split e-mech, the gold springs, wave head-joint. Not only do I sound good on it, got the proto type, but she gave it to be for $600 less than what its marked for! It's not going to be on the market for another few months!!! I love life. BRING ON THE PICCOLO MUSIC GBYSO, CAUSE NOW I CAN CONTROL MY PLAYING! It can play into the 4th and 5th octaves as well and I can control pitch and volume on it! I'm so proud
