bought 4 cds in the past week...
Aesop Rock "Bazooka Tooth" - not too good. decent rhymes. beats are boring. nothing special.
Keith Jarret "the Koln Concert" - beatiful. The entire concert is improvised solo piano. I've only listened to about 15 minutes, but what I've heard is great.
The Postal Service "Give Up" - really cool so far. cool electronic drum beats and synth bass. cool harmonies and melodies. Good cd.
Godspeed You Black Emperor "Slow Riot for New Zer0 Kanada EP" - I've only listened to the first track, but it's really good. Really quiet and ambient at times and really loud and powerful at times. Good.
Today is my 17th birthday. Time for a fun evening with my parents and grandparents. HA.
