May SOTM Nominations
This month we have midnightsabre (serenity-skies.net) and karenjeane (inbrightestday.net) choosing. Chrizta will be taking care of animanga, and Karen will be doing nonanimanga.
Remember, if you would like to VOLUNTEER to pick SOTM sometime, please let me know! We'd love to have you help out :) If you're interested (and we'd prefer that you have one or more shrines under your belt before picking), tell me which category you'd like to be in charge of and we'll see what we can work out. Just shoot me a PM or an email or you can go to the communication post which is linked in the community sidebar. Thanks!
We pick one unique shrine from each category (animanga and non-animanga, aka games/books/movies/etc) each month, based on the nominations we get. Anyone can nominate any shrine they enjoy. There's no special requirement. Nominate a lot of shrines!
If you're not sure what shrines to nominate, we do have the directory for your convenience, but of course nominated shrines do not have to belong to current members, so there's even more listed on the other shrine directories we have linked on the community sidebar.
A couple things to make note of:
❶ Feel free to recommend shrines for both or either one of the categories, and be sure to not only leave the url, but explain why you feel that shrine should win. You're trying to convince someone to pick it after all!
❷ You can nominate the same shrine for several months. If yours is not picked this month, feel free to nominate it again and keep your reason exactly the same. The nomination queue is cleared each month.
❸ The winning shrines can be shrines made by members of this community and members not in the community.
❹ You may make more than one nomination for either or both categories.
