New here and looking for some shrine tips
Hello, i was directed here from a topic i started on TAFL forums, but before i get to posting my questions i want to introduce myself. I'm Rika24 (sometimes Rikafire or Kaida Spirit if Rika24 is taken). I've always found shrines/fansites interesting and in the past i've tried to make ones that were interesting and showed my love for the character

I'm actually interested in seeing what people say about menu styles. I guess I mostly use the "condensed" menu style with menu pages on my shrines, but I have used the expanded one as well. I really like the expanded look, but that requires making a layout with two columns, and I rarely get that right. I think it would depend on the webmaster's overall style, as well as what kind of content he or she plans to put on the shrine. I personally like the menu pages for mine, because I like to describe what pages my shrine contains, and I organize them based on their content. For example, for the shrine I'm making now, in the info section, I've divided content up into two groups: "basics" and "in-depth". The basics is spoiler-free and can be read by anyone, while my in-depth content is intended for people who have played the game.
I look forward to seeing more shrines from you! We actually have a popular marathon just about to start. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the one-page shrine, but you should check it out! They can be a lot of fun, and a lot of cool sites come out of that marathon each year. We'd love for you to participate if you want to.
