Repetition in Shrines

When analyzing a character for a shrine and exploring scenes or events in different angles for essays, do you find it hard not to be repetitive? Let's say an event is super important to Character A, the character you are shrining, and changes him in some way. I had to do this for http://piratesboard.net/mikari/summon/night.php where there is a vital event that I call "the lighthouse scene" which affects the main subject of the shrine as well as his relationship with other characters and brings some revelations about what has been going on behind the scenes. I explained it, then simply referred to it later as "the lighthouse scene" rather than once again narrating everything that happened. Granted that this approach assumes that people will be reading the information sections in order, thus they will know what I'm talking about, but at least I don't have to explain the same series of events over and over.

Repetition, as in true repetition, makes a site seem boring. What I mean by true repetition is explaining the same thing. I don't consider referencing an event multiple times to be repetition because sometimes it's important to point out its relevance. But if it was explained in the previous page, then I don't think it needs to be explained all over again. Just reference it in a clear but very summarized way and move on to the new point.
