I went to bake macarons at Natalia's house yesterday! Yap and I went only because Ya min could not make it. Well, there's always another time. We met at Novena mrt and Natalia's sister was there too. Went to Fairprice and Cold Storage to get the ingredients. After that, we walked to Nat's house to put down our stuff and headed to Bake-It-Yourself shop nearby. There are a lot of baking stuff and it's really cool :D We got our parchment paper and walked back.
We ate first! Natalia's mother was very nice and funny. Haha. The food's great and I love the soup. After eating, we started chopping/grinding the almonds because we needed them in powder form. Well, during the process of chopping the almonds, Yap chopped the almonds so hard that it hit my ugly nose and made it uglier. And in the end, it turned out that Nat actually had a food processor. So most of our efforts went down the drain. Prepared all the stuff and then we started making the meringue. We actually failed but thanks to Google+ genius me, we got it done.
Started mixing it and piping it onto the parchment paper. Btw, Natalia was damn good at piping. Haha. The chocolate ganache was damn nice. Put it into the oven and we began to wait for it to be done. Meanwhile, we ate and talked to Natalia's neighbour and do stupid stuff. When the macarons were done, we put in the ganache and refrigerate it for awhile and I went off to dinner with my family :D

Hehe, I'm done! Everybody said it was nice, except my mother who did not even try lor! She was like," Surely not nice one! I don't want to eat, not interested." My dad was so much nicer. Although he don't eat this kind of sweet stuff, he still bothered to eat. Oh well, I know my mother very well
