Blink

It is really good.

Even if you're not a Doctor Who fan (or have thought about watching but haven't gotten around to it), I'd still suggest watching this one episode: it's a standalone that works even without the context of the whole rest of the show, since all the main show concepts get explained within the episode anyways.  It's incredibly self-contained, and has a great original villain.  Plus, if you then go back and watch the whole series, you won't know any spoilers!

Carey Mulligan plays the episode's main character (Sally Sparrow) so well: she's clever and quite capable even when she's had a very bad day; a large part of why Blink works is due to her performance.  (This is also the only thing I've seen her in, and it's just more reason to get around to An Education.)

Also, the Doctor explaining how time is, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, just a big ball of "wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey... stuff"?  pretty amusing.
